Lauren Ramsey
Head of Buyout and GMP Equalisation, Just Group
Lauren joined Just in 2025. One of Lauren’s key responsibilities is improving Just’s approach to GMP equalisation, including developing an efficient Just-led GMP equalisation proposition.
Before moving to Just, Lauren spent 17 years working as an actuarial consultant at Aon. From 2020, Lauren was a senior member of Aon’s specialist GMP equalisation team and led the implementation of several of Aon’s largest and most complex GMP equalisation and member choice projects.
Rob Andrew
Head of UK Pension Strategy and Solutions, Aberdeen Investments
Rob leads the pension strategy and solutions business at Aberdeen Investments, which invests more than £200bn for pension and insurance clients globally. He led the run‑on agreement for Aberdeen’s own £3bn pension scheme and the firm’s recent run-on transaction with Stagecoach, and also serves as a board director for Aberdeen’s insurance business in China.

Ralph is a finance and investment specialist with over 15 years’ experience in the pensions arena. He is the lead partner for a range of clients on both general pensions and investment, and is frequently involved in project work.
I was drawn to risk transfer work because of the opportunity to take part in transactions with a range of managers, consultants and insurers. He has developed a particular focus on buy-in, buy-out and other risk transfer options over recent years, and has worked on some of the biggest projects in the market in recent years.
